Get Lucky

Ready to get lucky? There are many very specific techniques for generating luck in your life. One of the simplest is to just start looking for good luck. Yes, it really can be as simple as that.

Maybe you have noticed that when you buy a new car, you start to see similar cars all over? Of course, they were there before, but now you are seeing them because you are looking. It works this way with luck too. Start looking for luck and you’ll find it. Start counting the ways you are already lucky, and you’ll have even more luck.

Get Lucky Today

Some will tell you that God or the universe brings luck into your life once there’s gratitude in your heart. It’s a nice thought, but not my style. A less spiritual explanation is that when you acknowledge luck, and you look for more, you create a certain frame of mind. This frame of mind helps you take advantage of opportunities you might otherwise not recognize.

For example, if you are looking for a job, and a friend mentions a new business in town that is hiring, you might usually think nothing of it. Now, if you were watching for luck, and grateful for the good luck you’ve seen in your life, you might be more likely to check it out, right. A few weeks later you may be working for this company, making more money and saying “Boy did I get lucky.”

You’ve probably heard the saying, “If life gives you lemons, make lemonade?” This describes the frame of mind of a lucky person. Just seeing how lucky you are, even in small ways, makes the possibility of good luck more real to you, and this gets you watching. The watching gets you thinking, “How is this lucky for me? What can I do with this situation? How can I make lemonade from these lemons?”

Start counting the ways you are lucky in life, and the first thing you’ll notice is that you feel better. A sense of gratitude is good for your soul, even if you’re not religious. Start watching for more good luck, and it won’t be your imagination when you start to get lucky.

What Everybody Should Know… About How To Focus

Focus is a very interesting thing. It's kind of confusing for a lot of people. Sometimes people have focus when they don't know that they're focused. Some people just can't seem to focus. Some people find that they're focusing on the wrong things, and not the things they want to focus on. It's difficult to measure.

Focus is a concept. It's very difficult to say, I'm focused”, right? Versus, I'm not focused, because its very, very subjective. Wheres the focus scale? How much does it weigh if you're very focused? The concept is very personal. One person's focus is another person's distraction, and you really need to take these ideas into consideration when you're talking about putting these principles and techniques into practice.

It's good to develop a skill to turn the focus on and off on demand, but you really want to be developing the natural areas that you're able to focus in on like crazy. I’m talking about hyper-focus when you really get into that zone where you literally can work on a project, be thinking about something, be reading a book, be watching a TV show, or be engrossed in a conversation about a topic, where you'll forget to eat or where you'll completely miss an appointment because you're so focused on what you were into or working on.

When you're working with this principle, technique, or concept, you have to remember that its a conscious choice in the beginning.

Let's talk about doing dishes. I hate doing dishes and just can’t focus on the task. I have hated doing dishes from the time I was a very small child. My parents will tell you plenty of stories about me getting distracted away from doing dishes. To this day, I still don't enjoy doing dishes, and I do my absolute best to outsource it to whoever is eating dinner with me at the time. But sometimes you just have to do the dishes. So, how do you get the dishes done?

I'm going to give you some tricks, and please remember, what we're talking about here isn't dishes specifically. It’s the focus. What we're talking about is your own dirty dishes. Whatever it is that's like dirty dishes for you maybe it's your homework, if you're in school; paying the bills is a very common one; getting your taxes organized in advance. There are some basic things that you can do to focus, that you can modify and plug into whatever it is that you have to do on a regular basis, that you just don't want to do.

Before I do the dishes, I make myself a nice pot of coffee. The second thing I do when I want to get a household chore done at high speed (because I'm a distance runner and love running), I actually get into my running clothes, shoes, shorts, and shirt, and do the dishes at high speed while dressed up as a runner. Its kind of a funny sight, but it works. It works really well. Or, whatever religion you are, you can somehow incorporate that into what you're doing. There are lots of very powerful ways to simply connect things that interest you, and include them in what you're doing to focus and make what you hate to do less like work.

It's very interesting the way this works. If you're diagnosed or not diagnosed with ADD or ADHD, it doesn't matter. Were talking about your mental habits. If you need more help focusing, put some of these practices and concepts into action. A linear person focuses on one thing. Their emotions get balanced. They're able to think ahead, plan ahead, and do things in sequence. That's pretty good for focusing on one task at a time, such as doing the dishes. Its a very monotonous, step-by-step kind of thing.

An ADD-type person for example focuses on one thing, and generally what happens, unless you're able to hyper-focus, as we discussed earlier, your brain literally shuts down. The part of your brain that is in control of doing things in sequence, planning ahead, and doing things in order literally shuts down. The activity in your brain just goes plop, and what happens is your brain starts looking for other things to stimulate it so it can stay active, except its going on randomizer now, meaning it will just soak up whatever is coming into your senses.

The point here is if you feed your senses with things that are related to what you're trying to accomplish, you'll stay focused on accomplishing that thing.

There are all sorts of different ways that you can play with this in your life.

Thought as a Vibration Toward Manifestation

THE Universe is governed by Law – one great Law. Its manifestations are multiform, but viewed from the Ultimate there is but one Law. We are familiar with some of its manifestations but are almost totally ignorant of certain others. Still, we are learning a little more every day – the veil is being gradually lifted.

We speak learnedly of the Law of Gravitation but ignore that equally wonderful manifestation, THE LAW OF ATTRACTION IN THE THOUGHT WORLD.

We are familiar with that wonderful manifestation of Law which draws and holds together the atoms of which matter is composed – we recognize the power of the law that attracts bodies to the earth, that holds the circling worlds in their places, but we close our eyes to the mighty law that draws to us the things we desire or fear, that makes or mars our lives.

When we come to see that Thought is a force – a manifestation of energy – having a magnet-like power of attraction, we will begin to understand the why and wherefore of many things that have heretofore seemed dark to us. There is no study that will so well repay the student for his time and trouble as the study of the workings of this mighty law of the world of Thought – the Law of Attraction.

When we think we send out vibrations of a fine ethereal substance, which are as real as the vibrations manifesting light, heat, electricity, magnetism. That these vibrations are not evident to our five senses is no proof that they do not exist. A powerful magnet will send out vibrations and exert a force sufficient to attract to itself a piece of steel weighing a hundred pounds, but we can neither see, taste, smell, hear nor feel the mighty force.

These thought vibrations, likewise, cannot be seen, tasted, smelled, heard nor felt in an ordinary way; although it is true there are on record cases of persons peculiarly sensitive to psychic impressions who have perceived powerful thought-waves, and very many of us can testify that we have distinctly felt the thought vibrations of others, both whilst in the presence of the sender and at a distance. Telepathy and its kindred phenomena are not idle dreams.

Light and heat are manifested by vibrations of a far lower intensity than those of Thought, but the difference is solely in the rate of vibration. The annals of science throw an interesting light upon this question. Prof. Elisha Gray, an eminent scientist, says in his little book, “The Miracles of Nature”:

“There is much food for speculation in the thought that there exist sound-waves that no human ear can hear, and color-waves of light that no eye can see. The long, dark, soundless space between 40,000 and 400,000,000,000,000 vibrations per second, and the infinity of range beyond 700,000,000,000,000 vibrations per second, where light ceases, in the universe of motion, makes it possible to indulge in speculation.”

M. M. Williams, in his work entitled “Short Chapters in Science,” says:

“There is no gradation between the most rapid undulations or tremblings that produce our sensation of sound, and the slowest of those which give rise to our sensations of gentlest warmth.

There is a huge gap between them, wide enough to include another world of motion, all lying between our world of sound and our world of heat and light; and there is no good reason whatever for supposing that matter is incapable of such intermediate activity, or that such activity may not give rise to intermediate sensations, provided there are organs for taking up and sensifying their movements.”

I cite the above authorities merely to give you food for thought, not to attempt to demonstrate to you the fact that thought vibrations exist.

The last-named fact has been fully established to the satisfaction of numerous investigators of the subject, and a little reflection will show you that it coincides with your own experiences.

Introduction to Manifestation

Have you ever thought of who you are? Are you the body you see every day in a mirror? Of course, you are not. Your body is constantly changing. It is different now than ten or twenty years ago. According to some scientists cells in our bodies are constantly replaced by the new ones. Although scientists differ in their opinions, most of them agree that every seven years we have a completely new body. Not even one cell is the same.

Anyway, most people intuitionally feel that they are not their bodies. When someone dies they say he has left. So, what has left? The body it's still there.

Are you your mind? You can observe your own mind. You can notice what you are thinking about now. Maybe you are reading this article now, but you are thinking about something else? Doesn't it happen often? You can observe how your mind works, so you are not your mind.

But most of the time we don't observe it. It's just the opposite, our minds constantly play different films in front of us, and it is not easy to stop them from doing it.

Have you ever tried to control your mind? Try for five minutes to concentrate on something. Let's say visualize a yellow triangle. Do not think about anything else. Just concentrate on the yellow triangle. Can you do it? Notice how many times you have thought about something else than the yellow triangle. It's very difficult to control a mind. Usually, our minds control us.

What do you mostly think about every day? If you are like most people you think about your past or your future.

Our past reminiscences can be happy or sad, but the past is the past. It's gone. The future is unknown, but we are creating our future now. Whatever we are thinking about now will manifest in the future. So if we think about our problems, lack of money, difficult situations, our future will be like this. If we think about how to make ends meet, it will happen. We will just make ends meet.

What if you started to live now? What if you stopped thinking about your past and stopped worrying about your future. You could think now that your life is happy. You could think that NOW you and your family have everything that you want and desire. Try it. Try to really visualize your perfect life. Don't think about the future. Think that it's now and be grateful for it. If your visualization is good, you will feel happy and excited. You will feel good, but most important is that you have just started making it really happen in the future.

Of course, you need to train your mind to do it every day. You need to learn the science of manifestation and practice. Great things don't come easily. That's why so many people don't live the lives of their dreams. They don't control their lives. They live their lives automatically. But you can change it. You can be happy, healthy, and wealthy. You just need to make some effort.

Don't let fear block all your manifestations!

It is alright to be afraid, but you don't have to be afraid of being afraid. That's what usually stops you.

Let yourself dive into the fear, process it, and then you will know through your feelings, through your emotionality, what it is about yourself that you have been taught to separate, to segregate, and what you can bring back and absorb and integrate within you.

More often than not, you do not allow yourselves to feel, or to be in touch with feelings that would help you integrate yourself, because you are afraid of being afraid.

You remove yourself two steps beyond the original feeling. You can be afraid and still do anything you want. Being afraid does not stop you from doing what you want.

Being afraid of being afraid stops you. Understand the difference. Just being afraid about something directly does not ever stop you from doing what you want.

What is fear? According my good friend Esther Hicks, she said fear is me looking at something that I don't want and my inner being refusing to go there with me.

The feeling of fear, or any negative emotion, is me looking at something and my inner being saying "you can look, dear one, but I'm not going to look, I'm going to stay over here with your dream. I'm going to stay over here and tend to the dream and the only reason that you're feeling that fear is because you're not tending to your dream. So, come over here with me."

And you say "no, I'm dedicated to fear." And your inner being says "come over here, this is where you really are, this is who you've become, come over here." And you say "no, I'm going to stay over here and be afraid."

So you have to say "my fear is natural given the thoughts I'm thinking and I can't control the conditions that I'm afraid of, but I can control my attention to them."

You're not feeling fear because the condition exists, you're feeling fear because you're looking at the condition activated in your vibration and causing contradiction in your own energy stream. You don't feel fear because there are bad things out there and you know that because bad things were out there before you knew about them and you didn't feel fear.

Abundance

It is delicious to come together with those like you who are coming to know who you are. It is our desire that you take away from this interaction the predominant understanding of the value of that which is you.

Of the value that you add in this leading-edge perspective. And that your dominant intent is to relax and allow all of the goodness that you have queued up for you. And all that Source is tending for you to begin to flow at a more abundant rate into your experience.

There isn't anything that you are supposed to do. There is nothing that you should be doing that you're not. There's nothing that you've done that is holding you apart from anything. Everything about that which you are is in your power now. Managing this gap between who you really are and who you're allowing yourself to be at any moment in time is the joy and the task of life.

You are the creator of your experience. But we mean that in a much bigger way than you know because you are tied to the eternalness of that which we all are. You are tied to the Source of that which you are.

We give this to you, not because we're trying to evoke a sense of responsibility. We give this to you because we want you to feel the immense value of your leading-edge perspective. Be lighter about it. Be freer about it. Be more playful about it. Look for more things that feel good. Have more fun. Tend to yourself more. Pamper yourself more. Take more time for yourself. Reach for thoughts that feel better. Identify the thoughts that do feel better. Pat yourself on the back more often. Give yourself more the benefit of the doubt. And as you ease up just a little bit, so much that you've queued up for yourself will begin to flow into your experience.

You will know from your own personal validation the truth of these words. You are Source in physical bodies and it is right that things go well for you. There is great love here for you, and for now, and always, we remain eternally and blissfully incomplete.
